Sherbrooke Castle Hotel is a grand four-star hotel in leafy Pollokshields on the south-side of Glasgow.
Quirky Features
It was originally built as a baronial mansion in 1896 and is built from a rich red sandstone with steep but beautifully landscaped gardens.
What makes it a good venue?
They’ve been doing functions for decades and have a relaxed but efficient service.  Building design and size give a real atmosphere of stately homeliness!
Our Impressions
We always wait until the meal is finished before setting up, and guests are accommodated during this time in the adjacent loggia. That’s a kind of big conservatory (we had to look it up).
The evening buffet is also put out in this area at the break, so there’s plenty of space for guests to mingle.
