This luxury golf resort has played host to the Jiggers many times since it opened for events a few years ago.
Location
It’s near Bishopton, a short distance from Glasgow, in its vast acreage of woodland estate. Easy access just off the M8.
Quirky Features
It’s a huge Victorian Scottish Mansion, and has great views overlooking the River Clyde and out towards the Kilpatrick Hills. Lots of rabbits around as you drive in.
What makes it a good venue?
In the main building, the function rooms are classically designed with original Victorian features, very high ceilings, exquisite chandeliers and a vast amount of natural daylight.
Our Impressions
The Pavilion has a very large dance-floor which is great for ceilidh dancing and floor-to-ceiling windows that lead out to a heated decked area for anyone who wants a quick breath of fresh air before getting back to the action. The acoustics are wonderful too, and it’s worth going for our ceilidh/DJ combination to get entertainment that will suit a variety of guests.
