About Carberry Tower
Carberry Tower is a lovely wedding venue on the outskirts of Edinburgh (Musselburgh), set in beautiful surroundings, and with lots of cool features like a billiards table, a spooky monk, a suit of armour and a stuffed boar with a top hat. Definitely worth looking at if you’re planning a wedding or an event in the Edinburgh area.
What entertainment to book
We suggest booking the Jiggers 3-piece ceilidh band for the room, to allow maximum space for dancing. There were around 80 guests at this wedding, and that seemed to be a good number for the venue: not too crowded, not too quiet. Also, it’s well laid-out, so that the band can set up during the meal, and the guests are taken upstairs while the “refectory” is turned around. We also included the DJ hire disco set for after the dancing, which goes down well with guests who like to boogie!
