The Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh
The Jiggers have played at the Royal College of Surgeons many times for both weddings and corporate events.
Location
The Royal College of Surgeons is in Edinburgh’s Old Town and is one of the oldest surgical corporations in the world, having been given the Seal of Cause in 1505. We have no idea what the Seal of Cause is, but I’m sure someone at the venue will explain it.
Quirky Features
There’s a historic ambience of oak-panelled walls with portraits of famous surgeons around the place. It has contemporary beautiful spaces. The Royal College of Surgeons is a perfect venue for e.g a medical conference, but we also play lots of weddings here too.
What makes it a good venue?
It’s an elegant and imposing venue with various rooms and halls offering impressive visual backdrops.
Our Impressions
The rooms and halls lend themselves well to dancing for both small and large numbers of guests. It’s worth googling some photos of the place to see what we mean!
