they found all the dances easy to do due to the brilliant calling…
I wanted to write and thank you so very much for the fabulous job your band did at my wedding. They were brilliant – the music and calling were great fun and so well done. We had American family members there who found all the dances easy to do due to the brilliant calling. Caledonia is my husband’s favourite song and he LOVED the way the band played it, and it seemed to become our second ‘first dance’ – everyone got very emotional. And the caller was hilarious which suited our wedding to a tee.

Everyone did, and still do comment on how fantastic you were, and I’ve already recommended you and passed on your details to a few people. So, thank you again. We couldn’t have asked for more.

thank you for a brilliant performance at the wedding…
Just a note to say a huge thank you for a brilliant performance at Paul and Emma’s wedding on 11th Sept. The standard of playing and the clarity of the “caller” made for a superb evening. Personally I am grateful for the generous way in which you facilitated the request to allow Paul to drum the one number. Well done guys (and girls!)….

bride and groom at venue

The Jiggers ceilidh band love to play gigs at House for an Art Lover, Bellahouston Park, Dumbreck Road, Glasgow. House for an Art Lover is a beautiful venue, designed by the Scottish architect, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and set in lovely grounds, which include a walled garden.

We were pleased to receive this thanks from a bride and groom who recently celebrated their wedding at House for an Art Lover:

Dear Brian, Mark, Katie, Jake, Greg and the rest of the team,

We’d just like to thank you for all your help for our wedding on 28th May at House For an Art Lover. The ceilidh was fantastic, thanks to Jake for organising and being so helpful with all our questions.

it sounded great and everyone had a great time…

Thanks to the band for playing brilliantly, it sounded great and everyone had a great time. Also thanks to Brian for the well-explained calling…

It was all really professional and your customer service is excellent. Thanks also to Jake and Greg for helping us to sort out the music for our friend to sing the first dance, and to the band for setting this up on the night. We would definitely recommend you to all of our friends and family looking for a band, so will hopefully see you again soon.

Best wishes
