What does the dance caller do?

Included with every band, our excellent dance caller will ‘compère’ the event. He calls out the next dance, encourages guests to the floor and explains the steps. The job of the caller is to make sure people are having fun, and feeling comfortable with having a go at the dances.

NON-SCOTTISH GUESTS?

The caller is very experienced, and has worked with participants of every nationality, age and ability. Should your guests not speak English, we have experience working with translators too.
