Ceilidh & DJ combination

With the Jiggers ceilidh band, you don’t have to hire a separate DJ. Combining the ceilidh and DJ makes for a really great night, and caters for a wider variety of musical tastes. It makes much more sense logistically, because there is more flexibility about changeover times, and you don’t have two separate PA and lighting rigs contending for space in the stage area.

Ceilidh & DJ is by far the most popular option for events we play, and it works really well… So why not finish off the night with a boogie?

What you do get:

• An experienced DJ – in tune with your guests
• Start off the evening with ceilidh, finish with disco
• High quality atmospheric & disco lights included
• Massive song library for requests
• A DJ who is friendly, polite and professional
• Wide range of songs & styles
  a DJ who’ll play the music YOU want
• Well known floor-fillers
• Choose your own song for a first/last dance
• Intersperse your own favourite songs (if required)
• Blacklist any songs you definitely don’t want
• Option to “theme” the music (e.g. Motown/Funk, 60s-70s-80s, Modern Chart etc…)
• Background music DJ option (if you just want to create an atmosphere)

What you don’t get:

• Tacky, “high-school DJ” mumbling over every record
• Battered old PA system & lights
• Billy O’ Dwyer, The Spinmaster
