We offer demonstration ceilidh dancers who can help with the party atmosphere, and help people to engage with the entertainment.

You can hire either 2 or 4 dancers. Our demo dancers will:

• Encourage people onto the floor
• Work with the dance caller
• Give a visual demonstration as the dance is called
• Take part in the dances*
• Be appropriately dressed

*If the dance floor becomes too busy, they will make space for the guests.

Part of the fun of a ceilidh is that many people are learning the steps as they go along. It’s not a hard-core Scottish Country Dance class, and the dances are chosen because they’re easy to pick up, and fun to do. Demo dancers can help because it means none of your guests need to worry about being first on the dance-floor.

Remember, the band has a dance caller regardless of whether you book the demo dancers or not. If you’re not sure whether your event might benefit from adding the demo dancers, just give us a call and we will gladly advise.
